  Spring is just around the corner and we are ready. Some of the residents have their gardening books out planning their garden this year.

  The Department Leaders, along with Todd in Maintenance, have been busy sprucing our home up with painting, new flooring in the residents' bathrooms, and the new electric beds for each resident purchased by our company. I am looking forward to all the excitement and festivities that we have planned for this year. One new event we our putting together will be a "Spring Fling" with all the residents and their families, along with the staff and their families, for an outdoor cookout and softball game. More information to follow.

• Spring Is Right Around the Corner!

  Spring will soon be here and we will hear the melody of all the birds returning from their winter stay. At Golden Living, we want to welcome opportunities to go and enjoy. One of the outings we are looking forward to is a drive to Mozingo Lake as the sun begins to beam with warmer weather. These outings, such as driving the countryside to view all the new spring babies against the green blanket of grass, ice cream in the park and garage selling provide a glimpse to what residents can look forward to. Yes, maybe I am getting my cart ahead of the horse, but I am sure ready for warm weather, as I know many others are, too!
