  According to WebMD, flu season can start as early as mid-October and run through the end of May. That makes this month prime time for a flu shot. Here at Hy-Lond, we like to be proactive in our response to the flu season in order to keep our patients and residents, families, visitors and staff as healthy as possible. There are steps to reduce your risk of contracting the virus:

  Get the 2011-2012 Vaccine

  Wash your hands frequently

  Do not visit with friends or family if you have signs and symptoms of the flu. Keep a look out in the mail for the consent form needed for your family member or friend to receive the vaccine.

  I would like to re-introduce myself as the Executive Director of Hy-Lond. I started at Hy-Lond in 2001 as the Executive Director and after a three year break, I have returned. My door is always open to assist in anyway that I can, and I encourage you call or stop by if you have questions.
