  Once again influenza season is here, and by getting vaccinated, you can protect yourself and your loved ones from the spread of influenza. Many of you should have received, signed, and returned the consent form sent out by the facility in October. The vaccine is strongly encouraged for people at a higher risk of severe influenza and their close contacts; this includes those who frequent a health care setting. Anyone can get influenza, and for most people symptoms last only a few days. Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, headache, chills, muscle aches, and fatigue. Keep you and your loved one safe and healthy and get vaccinated today! Happy holidays from all the staff at Golden Living!
