  As I wrote in our last newsletter, we are working at making reductions in our costs to help offset the financial setbacks of the Oct. 01 Medicare cuts. We have been brain-storming for ideas that can increase efficiencies and reduce costs that will not directly affect resident care, or staffing hours. One of the items that we will be discontinuing is this newsletter, as a cost-saving measure.

  We have hired a new Assistant Director of Nursing and her name is Mary Matthys. We are very excited to have her join our team and welcome her!
