  • THANK A VETERAN TODAY

    Nov. 01, 2011

A worldwide celebration took place on November 11, 1918, marking Armistice Day which went into effect between the combatants of W.W.I. Armistice Day was first proclaimed by President Woodrow Wilson to remind Americans of the tragedy of the great war. It became a tradition to honor the military who were killed in action on that day. In 1954, after the second World War, President Eisenhower signed a bill to change the name of Armistice Day to Veterans Day, to remember all men and women who served in the military to defend our country.

Come in and join us for a Veterans Day celebration with entertainment by "Dancing That's Living."

God bless our veterans and thank you for serving our country!
