About Our LivingCenter
Welcome to Golden LivingCenter – Blue Ridge. We are a skilled nursing facility located in Galax, Va., less than two miles from Twin County Regional Hospital. We are proud to be a 2008 recipient of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
At Blue Ridge, we offer both long- and short-term care with services ranging from diabetes management and wound care to physical, speech and occupational therapy. Because we understand the importance of socialization, we also offer many activities, including spiritual services, bingo and cooking.
