We are pleased to announce that our LivingCenter has been included on U.S. News & World Report's annual list of America's Best Nursing Homes. The list highlights the highest-ranked 5-Star nursing homes as rated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for health inspections, amount of nursing care, and performance in a range of quality measures. Only 173 nursing homes in the country have received this honor.
We are also proud to be 2009 recipients of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
About Our LivingCenter
At Golden LivingCenter – Chase County, we provide a variety of services to meet our resident’s needs. Our skilled nursing facility is located in the heart of the Flint Hills and is nearby the historic Grand Central Hotel. Our services include Alzheimer’s care, rehabilitation therapy and adult day care. Residents at Chase County enjoy group activities such as religious services and outings to places such as art museums and shopping establishments.
