About Our LivingCenter
Golden LivingCenter - Hillcrest of Wayzata is a beautiful skilled nursing facility conveniently located on 18 country-like acres surrounded by a one-mile walking path. We provide a wide spectrum of services including short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, respite and outpatient therapy services.
There are three major Twin City hospitals within 15 miles of our campus, Park Nicollet Methodist, North Memorial and Abbot Northwestern. We serve as an excellent choice to meet your rehabilitation needs, with skilled staff trained to treat high acuity, clinically complex conditions directly following a hospitalization.
Our rehabilitation services truly differentiate us. They are provided by Aegis Therapies and include physical, occupational and speech therapy. We also offer programs and specific therapy regimens such as: Omnisound 3000 Ultrasound; patented FX2 Electrotherapy; MegaPulse II shortwave diathermy; myofascial release; and Nautilus® strength-building and driving assessments.
Complete wellness requires more than the latest innovations in rehabilitative and skilled nursing care. At Golden LivingCenter - Hillcrest of Wayzata, we know that a comfortable, stimulating environment also plays an important role in the positive outlook of those in our care. We offer many private rooms, multiple common areas, pantries in each community, various leisure activities and restaurant-style dining. With over 25 freshly prepared items on our menu and open dining times, patients and residents are able to order what they want, when they want it. In 2012, we will be enhancing our short-term care community with new flooring and a renovated salon.
Our Memory Care Community is a place where those in the moderate to late stages of dementia can come to feel safe, nurtured and respected. Familiar living spaces and amenities, such as a kitchen, living room, family room, private and semi-private bedrooms, and a secured walking path help residents feel at home while maintaining their independence and well-being in a safe environment. Our residents’ days are filled with meaningful activity, decision-making and a sense of purpose, which lessens the likelihood of behavioral symptoms. Our trained staff uses intervention strategies to reduce anxiety and increase patients’ ability to sleep and participate in programming. Certified and licensed nursing staff reduces the need for outside appointments and ER visits. Our experienced community director, registered dietician, certified therapeutic recreational therapist, and dedicated occupational, physical and speech therapists provide exceptional on-site services and continuity of care.
Our Reflections Assisted Living residents are at ease with caring staff who ensure quality care. Most important, all associates providing services in our Assisted Living are certified or licensed personnel, which speaks to our standards of care.
Whether it’s the need for a new, permanent home, or short-term help getting back in the game after an illness or injury, we can help. Please call us for a tour.
