About Our LivingCenter
At Golden LivingCenter – Portside, your loved one's needs are our first priority. At our skilled nursing facility, we are dedicated to providing personalized, quality care to all of our patients and residents. We care for those who are recovering from an illness or surgery and want to return home quickly, as well as those who require long-term nursing care.
Our services include physical, speech and occupational therapy, wound care and IV therapy. Since we understand that recreation and socialization never stop being important, we provide a wide variety of on-site recreational and social activities, including spiritual services, picnics, cookouts and nature walks. We are also located less than one mile from Oak Park and Oak Park Senior Citizens Center.
In addition to offering quality short-term and long-term care, we also offer assistance for those in the intermediate stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Residents of our Alzheimer's Care Units will experience a beautifully designed and secure area that helps manage the behaviors associated with dementia and maintain cognitive and physical functionality, so the individual can live with respect and dignity.
