Awards and Distinctions
We are proud to be a 2009 recipient of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
About Our LivingCenter
Our goal is to provide compassionate nursing care in a clean, comfortable setting where you will feel at home. Our certified nursing assistants are trained to provide round-the-clock care, and our professional nursing staff meets with you regularly to discuss ongoing needs. And it's important that you stay active and healthy, so our recreation and nutrition staff provide regular, wholesome meals and a variety of individual and group activities.
In addition to offering quality long-term care, physical, speech and occupational therapy, stroke rehabilitation and wound care, we also offer short-term assistance for those recovering from illness, injury or surgery, as well as those in the intermediate and late stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Residents of our Alzheimer's Care Units will experience a beautifully designed and secure area that helps manage the behaviors associated with dementia and maintain cognitive and physical functionality, so the individual can live with respect and dignity. Patients of our Advanced Alzheimer's Care Units will receive one-on-on sensory-driven care; if necessary, hospice services will be provided by a locally licensed agency.
