About Our LivingCenter

At Golden LivingCenter – Black Hills, we take pride in the quality, individualized care that we provide our patients and residents. Black Hills is located in Rapid City, S.D., less than 10 minutes from Rapid City Regional Hospital. We understand how important it is to return home as quickly as possibly after an illness or injury so we offer short-term care to help make this possible. In addition to long- and short-term care, the services we offer include physical, speech and occupational therapy, wound care and stroke rehabilitation. Our patients and residents are encouraged to enjoy many different activities and outings, such as spiritual services, movie nights and trips to town.

We are proud to be 2009 recipients of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
