About Our LivingCenter

At Golden LivingCenter – Decatur, we’re dedicated to providing quality care in an environment that maximizes individuality. We are located in Decatur, Ga., less than half a mile from Dekalb Medical Center. In addition to providing compassionate, individualized long-term care, we also provide short-term care to those who are recuperating after a surgery or hospital stay. Our services include wound care, IV therapy, and physical, speech and occupational therapy. Residents may enjoy the fresh air in our landscaped courtyard or participate in many recreational and social activities, including spiritual services and group outings.

We are proud to be 2009 recipients of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step II Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
