About Our LivingCenter
Welcome to Golden LivingCenter – Meadowood. We are a skilled nursing facility located in Bessemer, Ala. Meadowood is proud to be a 2008 recipient of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
In addition to offering quality long-term care, we also offer short-term care to those recovering from an illness, injury or surgery. Residents and patients may enjoy a variety of onsite recreational and social activities, including spiritual services, picnics, cookouts and nature walks.
