About Our LivingCenter

At Golden LivingCenters – Merrillville, our goal is to meet the unique, individual needs of our residents. We are located conveniently nearby Methodist Hospital Southlake, as well as Forest Hills Park. Our residents will enjoy our beautiful fountain and garden, as well as participating in bingo and regular outings. At Merrillville, our residents’ needs are our biggest focus.

In addition to offering quality long-term care, we also offer short-term assistance for those recovering from illness, injury or surgery, as well as those in the intermediate and late stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Residents of our Alzheimer's Care Units will experience a beautifully designed and secure area that helps manage the behaviors associated with dementia and maintain cognitive and physical functionality, so the individual can live with respect and dignity. Patients of our Advanced Alzheimer's Care Units will receive one-on-on sensory-driven care; if necessary, hospice services will be provided by a locally licensed agency.
