About Our LivingCenter

Golden LivingCenter – Prairie Hills is a skilled nursing facility located in Rapid City, S.D. Conveniently, we are about three miles from the Rapid City Regional Hospital and only about 20 minutes from the South Dakota Air/Space Museum. If you or your loved one is recovering from an illness or joint replacement surgery, we do what we can to make your rehabilitation as quick as possible. We also offer services such as wound care, stroke rehabilitation, and physical, speech and occupational therapy. Our patients and residents are encouraged to take part in our onsite recreational and social activities as well as our outings to local parks and shopping establishments.

We are proud to be 2009 recipients of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
