About Our LivingCenter

Golden LivingCenter – Valley of Hayward takes pride in the quality, compassionate care that we provide. Our skilled nursing facility is located in Hayward, Wis., with access to Hayward Area Memorial Hospital and Sawyer County Historical Museum. In addition to offering long-term nursing care, we offer short-term rehabilitation because we know how important it is to return home as quickly as possible after an illness, injury or surgery. Our patients are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors near the babbling stream in our backyard or take a stroll in our beautiful flower garden. We also offer a variety of activities, such as outings to local shopping establishments, restaurants and events.

We are proud to be 2009 recipients of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) / National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Step I Quality Award. This award recognizes facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of continuous improvement by delivering ever-improving value to residents and other customers, improving overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities, and serving as a champion for organizational and personal learning.
