Robert Etchells

Robert Etchells has been associated with the long-term care industry for over eighteen years and is presently serving as Executive Director of Golden LivingCenter - Walnut Creek, located in Erie, Pa. A native of central Pennsylvania, he received his undergraduate degree at the Pennsylvania State University and his Masters Degree in Geriatric Health Care Administration from the University of North Florida. In 2006 he was nominated by Governor Edward Rendell and unanimously approved by the Senate to serve the Commonwealth as a member of the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators, the state licensing board. In 2009, he was appointed Vice-Chair of that board. He previously served as the Region I Vice President of the Pennsylvania Health Care Association as well as a member of that associations board of directors. In addition to his professional associations with the American College of Health Care Administrators and American College of Healthcare Executives, Mr. Etchells serves as an adjunct instructor of Health Care Administration at Slippery Rock University and York College of Pennsylvania.
