Golden LivingCenter – Foley

Tommy H. has worked with Golden Living and its predecessors for 22 years and been Executive Director of his LivingCenter for the last 21 years. In this position, he provides leadership and oversight to all aspects of his multi-faceted LivingCenter, which includes an Aegis Orthopedic Center of Excellence and an Alzheimer's Care Unit. In addition, he serves on the board of directors of his community’s Rotary Club, on the executive board of his local chamber of commerce and on the advisory board of a nearby assisted living facility.

He cites his LivingCenter’s atmosphere of professionalism, friendship and support as being key to its success. “Working with all the special people who have the technical skills and the aptitude to genuinely care for those who need our help is the single most important factor to success,” says Tommy. “Everyone working together assures positive outcomes for patients and families.”

He also finds great reward in viewing the positive results of his hard work and leadership on the faces of his patients and residents, and their families.

“It is a pleasure to see the excitement and anticipation in patients as their abilities improve while our therapy and nursing staff work with them in the rehab unit,” says Tommy. “It’s very gratifying to see that they realize we are the best option for them and their family members.”
